    Custom Dungeon Grate - Origins

    Hey guys!

My name is Márcio and I'm from Brazil.

I want to share with you the result of this item I made for my Castle Grayskull Origins. I made my version of the dungeon, inspired by the exclusive pack "Secrets of Grayskull".

I used foamboard for the structure, PVC for the grid and cold porcelain for the tentacle.
    100% handmade process...

And here you can see the entire process: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L5WneC8Y6MA

    And sorry for my English

Great job. I'll take a look at your video. I love the dripping slime detail. Do you like working with cold porcelain? I recently got started working on custom Castle Grayskull and have been using DAS air dry clay. But have been thinking of porcelain for other projects. Does it dry really hard, like ceramic? Or regular porcelain?

    Really thanks dude!

This detail of the slime I made with a type of silicone glue.
And I use cold porcelain putty a lot in my projects. Around here it's a very cheap material. About its resistance, I would say that after curing it looks more like a piece of plastic than porcelain. It has good strength, especially when we create small parts. I think you could test it too.

And the slime on this custom has Origins beat for sure. I might add that to my own.

Also, I like the colors on this tentacle better than the origins one. Of course that's personal preference.

Yeah I make things out of foam. Never tried what you did. I have made few things out of air dry clay though. Mine would be way more simpler than yours.

    Hey, jibernish!

    Thank you so much dude!

A few days ago I made another version of the tentacle, with the color pattern more similar to the "Orlax" from the comic book prequel to Revelation. It was pretty cool too.
