    Origins Custom Castle Grayskull "Courtyard"

    Hey guys!

I made a courtyard for my Castle Grayskull - Origins.

The material used here in Brazil is called "Depron" and is the equivalent of "foamboard". The painting was made with acrylic paint.

I posted the complete process on YT (in Brazilian Portuguese, but you can have a nation of how I did it).

    Thank you!

    Thanks for commenting!

That way I got more space for the action figures, haha.

I was inspired by the version of Castle "Classics".

I think your link is missing part of it. It won't load for me.

Great job! It really should have been flush with the floor to begin with.

I love that you added what looks like my manhole to the floor. It was quite odd that they left that hole open, most people aren't going to have a flying vehicle in their playset.

    Hey, BadVermin!
    Thanks man!

The first challenge of this project was to level the floor. And then while I was doing it I had this idea to add the manhole cover...hehe. I wish I had added more elements, but then I wouldn't have space to place the figures.

Wow, that's a lot of work, but so worth it. The finished pieces look amazing!

    Thanks, cyberius704!

It was really hard work...but this was a project that was in my plans even before I got the Castle
So I had to try. I really enjoyed doing it and I really liked the final result.

That looks great. Really adds to the display value of the castle. I'm going to watch your video after work. Very cool!

Yeah, jibernish...the only problem is the space in the stand, hahaha.

Any questions about the process, you can ask, ok?

    Thanks dude.

    Hey, They-Them!

Glad you liked it, and also glad the tutorial was helpful (Even with the idiom difference, haha).

I really hope this inspires you, bro.

It really does inspire me. I subscribed to your YouTube channel as well. Even if I don't understand much of it (I took Portuguese in high school and speak some Spanish), the videos are still quite enjoyable. And I love seeing the non-U.S. Origins packaging.

I'm really happy, man! And thank you very much for your subscription!

About the packaging of the "Origins"from wave 1 to wave 4 we received the version with the "translation" for PT-BR.

Just out of curiosity, look at how some characters are known around here (some are literal translations):

    Skeletor: Esqueleto
    Evil Lyn: Maligna
    Beast man: Homem Fera
    Mer-man: Aquático
    Trapjaw: Mandíbula
    Orko: Gorpo
    Battle Cat: Gato Guerreiro
    Man-E-Faces: Multifaces
    Man At Arms: Mentor

And in Brazilian Portuguese, the phrase of transformation is: "Pelos poderes de Grayskull...Eu tenho a força!!!"

That is seriously awesome! Great job!

Here's hoping Mattel sees this and realize we need something like this for Castle Grayskull.
Playsets for Origins. All steeds for Origins. Cringer for Origins. Spirit AND Swiftwind for Origins. Adora for Origins. Castle Grayskull Accessories/Add-Ons for Origins

    Tank you DavidSummers!

Yeah, it would be awesome if Mattel made something like that. Everyone would like to have one of these in the collection.
