Erik is my favorite. He had the most colorful and interesting personality of the six. But when I role-played as a kid, I was always Hank because his bow rocked.

OK cool. I might end up with these as I'm not a huge fan but would like to have them.

I don't think I'd go that far... sure, they bickered all the time (usually at the behest of something Eric said/did), but at the end of the day they were all friends and helped each other when it counted most.

If anything, the clashing personalities made it even more realistic and relatable.

Yup, mine was Diana followed by Bobby... (My original D&D character -who is still alive BTW- is a Dwarf, and since no one in the group was a dwarf, I resonated with the next best thing, lol)

I was drawn to Diana, because she is the acrobat, and I was a competitive gymnast. Her item is also the javelin, and I am drawn to characters who use staffs; Donatello is my favorite Turtle. She is also really assertive and confident. Personality-wise, I like Eric, because he is the most level-headed. People tend to see him as a naysayer or a complainer, but he tends to be the voice of reason in every situation. One of the things I do not like about the series is that he is consistently made out to be wrong, when in reality, in most instances, he would be right: "Maybe we should not do this unnecessarily dangerous thing, just because Hank is stubborn, and is going to do it with or without us."

I am, like, stupidly excited for these.

For one, I've wanted action figures of these characters since the 1980s.

Secondly, after years of collecting MOTUC and ThunderCats Classics, these figures seem like a bargain at "only" $25 (which is ridiculous, I know). And the fact that these will be on retail pegs is icing on the cake.

Bring on Eric, Presto, and Sheila and I will be a happy camper.

And for $25 they will be vastly more animation accurate sculpts, colours and better articulation with more range.

Just a heads up that I changed the title of this thread since now it encompasses more than just the NECA line.

No... you're right. I just checked, and Target does not ship to anywhere outside of the the United Sates.

    Thanks Dorrmann!

This probably isn't the place to ask, but could you do the same for the Switch thread? Change the title to "Nintendo Switch news" or something?

There is a lot of info in there that doesn't specifically have to do with BOTW anymore...

I wonder how they'll do other guys' accessories. There is no real good way to show invisibility with toys . Shield could come wit some energy effect splashing on as attachment.

Presto is tricky because he can come with literally anything as accessories. Also he either needs second head or his hat must fit both on his head and in his hand.

I would assume Presto will probably be like some Marvel Legends magicians and have some effect pieces. Or maybe a magic blast effect for his hat.
I think Sheila and Eric will probably come with other types of accessories instead energy effects.

Huh, I thought that the whole line was exclusive to Target.

I guess it's just Venger and Dungeon Master?

Unfortunately that seems to be the case quite a lot these days. Anyway Tiamat Haslab incoming at PulseCon perhaps.

    Ugh... Haslab.

Tiamat would be the first Haslab product that I'd actually feel compelled to buy. She is a pretty big part of the show after all...

I was thinking how cool it would have been if these figures were made in the larger 6inch scale to fit in with MOTU, TC, TMNT, (Super 7) G.I. Joe / Transformers, and SilverHawks... it'd be a Saturday Morning Animation explosion all over our toy shelves!!

It's better they are in the smaller 6" scale as they fit in with far more figures.

I got Dungeon Master & Venger off Target but I don't understand how Hasbro can make Dungeon Master & Venger exclusives. They are essential characters to the show. If you missed out on them, there's really no reason to even start the line. I hope they get some kind of alternate release for the people who missed/can't get them on Target or Hasbropulse.

I'm willing to bet that Venger will be repackaged along with Night-Mare at some point...

Dungeon Master might come with Strongheart, Shadow Demon or Warduke...?

I'll be surprised, BUT VERY HAPPY, if the line goes that deep.

Exactly how I feel. No point in me even bothering with the kids up at BBTS when I have no idea if I'll be able to pick up Venger. Since he's the main bad guy you can't have a collection without him. You can probably do without Dungeon Master to an extent but not without a villian for the kids to battle.

Had this line happened 10 years ago I would probably have paid eBay prices. Right now I'll wait it out until the full collection is readily available.
