I don't really understand.... Venger and Dungeon Master are up for pre-order at Target.com. Pre-order them. Who's missing out? They're readily available.

Ive checked kapow, comics and cocktails, in demand toys, star action figures, nerd toys and zavii, they’re showing as sold out on there so I maybe wouldn’t say they can be easily ordered, they haven’t gone up on toysarama or forbidden planet yet though.

I wonder if they're actually sold out, or if these shops just don't know how many they will be receiving yet?

Since he's the main bad guy you can't have a collection without him. You can probably do without Dungeon Master to an extent but not without a villian for the kids to battle.

Had this line happened 10 years ago I would probably have paid eBay prices. Right now I'll wait it out until the full collection is readily available.
I know these are Target exclusives, and there are no Targets in the UK, but Target.com is supposed to ship internationally. If you still cannot pre-order, private message me.

You’ll need a shipping service if you want to get stuff from Target into the UK, so not impossible to do.

This is probably nothing, but... about a week ago I pre-ordered these figures from Target and my card was pre-authorized and then the charge dropped off (which is normal operating procedure).

Today, my card got charged again. Normally this would mean the figures are about to ship, but these aren't due until January. Trying not to get my hopes up that they're releasing early. Otherwise, I'm not sure why Target did two pre-authorizations of my credit card.

    Interesting...

I will curb my enthusiasm for now, but this is an intriguing development.

Target will pre-authorize periodically to ensure the method of payment is still active and able to be charged.

I have so much preordered at Target ( ) that it seems I always have some sort of temporary hold on my card.

Hi, I saw these Dungeons & Dragons figures show up on Diamond Select's FB. I do not know if I will pull the trigger on the action figures, but these minifigures may work for me.

Huh... I've never been a huge fan of mini-mates, but I do have a decent collection of 'em.

I might pick these up... but, what I'm more excited about is the possibility of some Diamond Select 1/7 or 1/8 scale statues. Yes, they usually aren't the epitome of quality, but for the price, I'd take a set of D&D cartoon characters.

Me too. That's why I got a Target Red card so all my Target stuff is just on that. Target does authorizations all the time.

The "Gallery" PVC statues they've been releasing are pretty good and cheap. I have a few. I'd love a set of them in the D&D toon cast.

    Agreed.

I have their Castlevania, Sonic, and Mortal Kombat Gallery statues... and for the price, they're really not bad.

Hasbro are also making 1:12 scale figures based on the new movie.

Grimsword was spotted at a shop in Ohio and some of the kids have hit BBTS. So stuff is starting to happen...

    Yes!

BBTS has Hank and Diana in stock so far...

I didn't order them though because I already preordered everything from Target.

I hope Target gets theirs in soon!

Since I'm an impatient sucker I cancelled my Target order for Hank and Diana and ordered them through BBTS. They've already charged my card so hopefully shipping will be quick. I'm curious to see how well these fit into my MOTUC and ThunderCats Classics collections. I'm guessing they'll be a tad small, but since the characters are kids I'm hoping they'll still look scale-appropriate.

The D&D characters are also Earthlings while MOTU and Thundercats are aliens from other planets.

Good point. But I personally have always pictured Eternians and Thunderians to be roughly human-sized, so I'd prefer the scales to not be too dissimilar. Plus Queen Marlena is an earthling and has never been depicted as significantly shorter than Randor or other Eternian humans. I think the kids should look mostly OK even if they're a tad small. I think the deal-breaker may be Venger. If he's only 6" he's going to look a tad puny beside Skeletor.

    Venger is 8.2 inches tall.

Got Hank and Diana from BBTS today.

    Initial thoughts:

    - Joints are INCREDIBLY tight (with the exception of Hank's waist swivel, which is loose). I cannot get Diana's elbows to move at all as I'm afraid they'll break. I forced her legs outwards to test the range and now they won't go back together again completely. Seriously, these are two of the stiffest figures I've ever handled.
    - Sculpts are pretty nice, cartoony but that's how they were advertised. Hank's upper torso seems to be a little on the longish side.
    - Paint is simple but clean. I'm impressed that they were able to paint every single rivet on Hank's tunic. I think these will look good with MOTUC or ThunderCats Classics figures.
    - I cannot get Hank into a decent "pulling on the bowstring" pose at all because his elbows are too limited. Shame.
    - The top of Hank's tunic wants to ride up, giving him a no-neck look.

It sounds like I'm nitpicking a lot but I do like the looks of these. The entire team together will look really nice in a collection. More pics to come.

Finally got Diana's elbows to move. When they gave, I nearly had a heart attack.

Here's hank, nearly pulling his bow string...

Size comparison with other lines. I think they scale almost perfectly.
