Revelation-complete. Did you enjoy it?

I Loved Revelation, second half was Really Good!
I went in with a open mind no Expectations. After Reading Masters of the Multiverse...... All Modern DC Comics MOTU Content, Toyguru 's Video on else worlds /Multi-dimensional aspects of MOTU content I Just looked at the story from a outsiders perspective on this interpretation of the world of He-man updated to Bring in new viewership. I ended up enjoying it. It's not FILMATION , MYP , it's its own tale.. once I looked at it like that I enjoyed it. I didn't Jedi mind trick myself. Just new eyes on the canon.To get new fans you need certain things for a 40 yr old property updated, not everything just enough so a modern audience gets a fresh feel of the property. But I believe for the most part certain elements are fixed in this particular story to be Masters of the Universe.
Skeletor is the villain, Teela is a female warrior ascending to become the sorceress of Grayskull / underlying Romance with He-man . He-man is the Champion & Protector of Eternia and the Universal secrets & powers inside the Great Hall of Wisdom Masked as Fortress of Power Castle Grayskull!
This is the very core of Masters of the Universe!

I'm new to MOTU in general. I started with She-Ra and the Princesses of Power about a year ago, followed by Revelation and the comics. I've begun to dip my toes into Filmation and with it, collecting the Origins action figures line. (My poor wallet...)

I voted for the enthusiastic yes answer, because I think Revelation is one of the most gorgeous animated shows I've ever witnessed. The pacing in the first half left much to be desired, for me personally, but the second half made up for it. I binged the whole second half in one evening because I couldn't stop watching, which is something I don't think I've done since Downton Abbey.

All in all, it was a fantastic experience that helped get a new adult fan into the MOTU universe and hobby. My fingers have been crossed for many weeks in hopes of a second season announcement later this year. Kevin Smith had a Twitter thread yesterday chock-full of positivity about Revelation, so I hope that the vitriolic haters have latched onto something else at this point.

I loved it. It was far better than I thought it was going to be. Part 1 was much better than Part 2, but the last episode of Part 2 was the best episode of all.

I have rewatched it a few times since and still love it each time.

I think that this is an important point...

I can't be sure, but I would imagine that many of the people who dislike Revelation only watched it once (maybe didn't even get through the whole thing) then jumped right to social media to tell everyone how terrible it is.

Obviously, if you don't like something you're less inclined to repeat view it... however, if you're going to set out to smear the project, you should at least give it one more watch to see how you feel after your initial viewing.

Did not work for me. In fact, I disliked the parts that I strongly disliked in my first viewing even more in the second viewing. Overall, the story was OK but as a fan, there's a LOT to dislike. Simple things that maybe others just don't care about because they're excited for their favorite characters and how they got treated. But if your favorite characters got snubbed, then it's not nearly as much fun.

The Evil-lyn, Skelly "sex" scene was just plain trash. Should not have been presented in this media. Even more so how it depicts men as brainless idiots who'll do anything for "women" and it shows young lady fans that if they want something from a man, just offer your body.

Pros: more action than Netflix She-ra, better animation and well the music was just wow.

Cons: characters are less likable, many characters gets killed off before we get to know them well & the power levels plus plot holes all over are even worse than SPOP!

I am voting second highest option... UwU
