    Live Action:

    Xena: Warrior Princess
    Charmed
    Sabrina The Teenage Witch
    Power Rangers
    Various DC's Arrowverse Series

    Animated:

Masters Of The Universe (All Versions Including New Adventures)
She-Ra Princess Of Power & Princesses Of Power
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (All Versions)
    Thundercats (Both Versions)
    Winx Club

*This question was more complex than I thought, it is so hard to choose only five although I generally LOVE fantasy and superheroes!

I really like the way you divided your answer into live action and animated.

Let's all follow Mikey's lead and do the same.

I'm gonna follow Mikey's lead and also cheat:

    Animated:
Bob's Burgers - Hilarious characters and no shortage of stores with bad pun names.
Daria - A cynic's-eye view of high school that holds up decades later (even if the fashions don't).
Gargoyles - The best thing that ever came out of Disney, so naturally they couldn't let it reach its full potential.
Rick and Morty - The most clever sci-fi show out there, constantly turning all the old tropes on their ears.
Transformers Animated - The best Transformers cartoon so far; fun character designs, heady underlying plots, and it lovingly homages all the series that came before it while still being its own thing.

Honorable mention to Megas XLR for having the best theme song in TV history.

    Live action:
Arrested Development - A comedy so deep that you find new things to laugh at every time you watch it.
Mystery Science Theater 3000 - Making unwatchable movies watchable since 1988.
The Office (UK) - The superior original. It's like the US version but the boss is a believable horse's ass rather than a cartoon character, and it knows better than to wear out its welcome.
Police Squad! - From the guys who brought you Airplane!, who later recycled it into The Naked Gun since no one wanted to pay enough attention to their TV to see all the gags.
Spaced - A slice of fried gold from the blokes who would go on to make the Three Flavors Cornetto Trilogy (Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, and The World's End).

Honorable mention to Seinfeld, who would have made the top five if only they were brave enough to ditch the live audience.

This question was so hard for me to answer because I am a fan of so many things, it's like asking me to choose five favourite musicians or bands, given that I have around 40 favourite musicians/bands.

Criminal minds - loved almost every episode but slightly marred towards the end when the actor who player aaron was fired.
Supernatural - the first few series were the best but could still watch over again
Buffy the vampire slayer - as a teen this show was everything although it slightly lost its way in the final series
CSI - not necessarily all the series but those series with the original cast still hold a place in my tv heart
24 - even rewatching I get as into it as I did when I first watched it

    Animated
Jayce and wheeled warriors - when I was a kid I was up at 6am to watch it
Ulysses 3000 - recently dug this out for my 12yo and he really enjoyed
He-man filmation - will still sit down randomly and watch an episode or ten
X-men - the theme tune is everything
Visionaries: knights of the magical light - dug this up last year and still enjoyed it 30+ years after seeing it as a kid

I know I already posted my answers, but I also wanted to state that I am also a fan of all things DC and Disney (live action and animated) and I love classic shows like Bewitched, I Dream Of Jeannie, Addams Family, Munsters and Beverly Hillbillies, I grew up on reruns of all those shows!

Very hard to pick. There were older shows back in the day that meant the world to me that now seem dated.

Live Action (in no particular order):

    1. Sherlock Holmes (1984 Granada television)
    2. Seinfeld
    3. Star Trek: TNG
    4. Kung Fu (1972)
    5. Letterkenney

    Animated:

    1. One Punch Man
    2. Simpsons
    3. Batman TAS
    4. Baki the grappler (all series)
    5. Demon Slayer

Honorable mention to Naruto Shippuden and Hunter x Hunter.

I will not cheat and will make the hard decision of listing only 5 of my favorite shows because I am a rigid person with an inflexible sense of rules and regulations...when it suits me (and the joke I am trying to tell):

    1) Mystery Science Theater 3000
    2) Monty Python's Flying Circus
    3) Mr. Show with Bob and David
    4) The Twilight Zone
    5) The Venture Brothers

    1: The Wire
The most compelling, fully realized, fascinating, heartbreaking show ever on TV. Masterful storytelling, so many incredible performances (many by complete unknowns), and I don't believe I've ever seen a show use its setting as a "character" as well as The Wire did with Baltimore. Honorable mention to Homicide: Life on the Streets, without which there would be no Wire.

    2: Deadwood
It made me fall in love with Westerns. An absolutely incredible cast led by Ian McShane - who may have created the greatest TV character of all time in Al Swearengen. A masterclass in how to create "fictionalized history". And I could listen to David Milch's dialogue every day for the rest of my life.

    3: Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul
At this point, I don't think you can separate these two shows. Saul is more than a prequel, in that it actually elevates Breaking Bad into even more than it was before. I believe Breaking Bad had higher highs and lower lows, but IMO, Saul has become the even better show.

    4: Twin Peaks
I've never been as affected by a single episode of a TV show as a was in 1990 when I watched the first episode. It changed everything about what you could do on Television. The first season was absolutely perfect start to finish. It made weird "cool" and set the groundwork for so many things to come later. Sadly, the 2nd season is almost completely forgettable as network interference began to mess with Lynch's vision. But it was redeemed 30 years later, with the outstanding 3rd season.

    5: The Twilight Zone
So far ahead of it's time. Incredibly smart, clever, funny and devastating. The fact that I've seen every episode and still can't turn away from a marathon is the highest praise I can give something. Genius is a word that has been so watered down over time, but is absolutely fitting in every aspect to this show.

    Honorable mention: The Sopranos
The show that paved the way for a new way to watch TV. It was not episodic or procedural. You couldn't miss an episode and still catch up. Cutting down form the American standard of 22 episodes to a dozen or less meant "all meat, no filler". As brilliant as anything ever on TV at its best. The only reason it's not in my Top 5 (today that is), was that it had a few seasons that i did not think were nearly up to par with its best. Maybe the long production delays hurt it, but it did tend to lose its way for a bit - and never reclaimed its's original highs.
