How do I set my own avatar? I noticed a number of people seem to be able to, yet I seem to be restricted to 11 different presets.

    Welcome,
I think if you donate, you get more choices, but it's a guess.
    Enjoy the forum

Having to choose from a set of avatars is a limitation of an account set up with a free (Gmail, Yahoo, etc.) email address. The easiest way to gain full access to this and other things like the Marketplace is to change your registered email address to one that's not free such as your school, ISP, work, etc. Alternatively, you can donate as little as $10 to the site to gain full access.

I work from home and am self employed, so I use my personal email for work related matters.

    That's a bit of a bugger, so I can't set Meat-Beat as my avatar.

    Ah well. Thanks anyway doormann.

Does your ISP issue email addresses? That would work as well.
