that sounds like fun. I'd love to see what the castle winds up looking like... will it be vintage or are they going all in on the CG show designs? I'm guessing vintage but... I'm guessing this is a kids park too, so maybe it'll be themed for them.

This was originally supposed to open before this summer, but it was moved to next January or February, with the goal of having it open in time for the Super Bowl. If they meet that deadline, it will probably be a stripped down experience, like the soft opening for Galaxy's Edge that did not have all of the attractions available.

OK, I guess I wasn't too far off in my recent announcement about designing plans for an actual life-sized Castle Grayskull!

I'm skeptical about how good this Mattel park version will be, though. Will it look realistic, or corny? Will it be designed like a castle on the inside, with multiple levels and corridors, and myriad nooks and crannies, or will it be more of a generic laser-tag arena?
