Hello, Masters of the Universe Enthusiasts

Hello, Everyone! I guess I'm not the run-of-the-mill member. I'm more of a by-product of my son's love of MotU. When he was a boy (in the '80s), he and his little buddies played at our home for hours every day with the action figures and play sets, vehicles and flying characters. Whenever Mattel released a new action figure, I would get it and squirrel it away for the next holiday, birthday, good report card, etc. My son took good care of his toys, and asked me to store them for him, which, of course, I did. While doing a massive clean-up of my garage, those big boxes of MotU equipment were uncovered. Several years ago, my grandson had asked to play with the "castles". Unfortunately, he was not as careful in his play as my son had been. When I attempted to re-assemble Grayskull, Snake Mountain and Eternia, I found that pieces were missing.

I have only a few action figures left. Most were sent to my granddaughter for a school report she was writing. If anyone in the Chicago area would like this stash for back-up or replacement parts for their collection, please let me know. I can take and post photos of what I have, including a large assortment of weapons and other accessories. I would never just trash all these. Better that they find a home with a true MotU collector.
