quite interested about this even though I'm not a fan of revelation, but at least they could have put a picture of he-man in the thumbnail, you can barely notice the Revolution logo in the video

I hope its the two clips from ep 1 they showed at SDCC, since that was a behind-the-doors type of case.

And I need to see them in higher definition!

The two logos may be unrelated, and the proximity is by chance alone.

NBCUniversal holds the entertainment rights for both He-Man and She-Ra.

They own all She-ra and, I believe, only Filmation He-man entertainment rights.

They had nothing to do with Revelation or the CGI series.

No, NBCUniversal do not own all of She-Ra.

NBCUniversal was not involved with Masters of the Universe: Revelation or He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, because those series are Mattel productions, based on the toys only.

Theoretically, Mattel could similarly include She-Ra, but because there was a lot of collaboration between Mattel and Filmation in her development, it would be difficult to determine which elements belong exclusively to one party or the other.

It would be much easier for Mattel to simply pay NBCUniversal a license to use Princess of Power in Masters of the Universe: Revolution, but it appears neither option is something in which Mattel is interested.

They do not want to pay for the legal research, and they do not want to pay for a license or share any profit.

Mattel Productions can't make a She-ra show based on She-ra mini comics or toys without NBCUniversal being involved.

However, Mattel can go crazy on the He-man side as long as they are not Filmation versions/likenesses/etc.

Just saw the clip. It was very cool. It's from the same scene shown at SDCC where the heroes battle Scareglow, except this one shows more of the ending. Scareglow steals Fisto's fist and Clamp Champ's clamp and becomes a spider monster to battle He-Man. He-Man fights and beats him, tossing the fist and clamp to Randor. The only other new information was that the series will come out in 2024. Super exciting to finally see some new footage!

That was a lot of painful garbage to wade through to get to that very very short clip .

Wish they would have dropped a specific date, but I guess we'll know everything we need to know soon enough.

Not a bad clip in isolation. Roll on 2024.

Animation Magazine has a synopsis up for the season!

"It’s technology versus magic when He-Man and the heroic warriors face the forces of Skeletor and something more in Masters of the Universe: Revolution — the new epic chapter in the battle for Castle Grayskull!

The newly mechanized Skeletor, armed with the might of Motherboard, attacks the heart of Eternia while Prince Adam grapples with a new responsibility and what that means for him as He-Man! Adam is forced to choose between the scepter or the sword, and a life as either the King or the Champion! Meanwhile, the new Sorceress Teela searches for the secret of Snake Magic in the mists of Darksmoke to rebuild a magic realm and help He-Man hold off the greatest threat Eternia has ever faced: the return of the despot Hordak, the ruthless leader of the Horde Empire!"

The executive producers confirmed that already back in April and then again in July (at SDCC).

Actual release date info will come a bit later.

I don't want Randor to die, but if we get King He-Man and Queen Teela finally in cartoon form either as part of the main story or a flashforward, I will be happy. I'd prefer Randor just retire, but I know death will be the most likely reason he leaves the crown.

Too me what fasitnating about this clip is all the artifacts that Scareglow has collected, in those wall spaces behind ill have to pause the clips to try and identify what all of them are. The end of the fight se=cene is great as well.
