looking at the comments on YouTube and Twitter the situation doesn't look good, people are already starting to hate it like the first series, this time for no reason
They really did dig themselves into a hole with a lot of fans with Revelation. They are going to have to work hard to climb out. That clip they showed isn’t going to be wooing many folks that disliked season one back. They need to cut an epic trailer like the We Need A Hero trailer and this time, deliver on it. Have a bunch of new characters pop up, a solid Hordak moment, etc.
If season one was 10 episodes with the vibe of that first trailer, the show would be adored by a much larger chunk of the fan base (and the general public).
On a side note, WHO is Shatner playing?!? I would think it would have to be a big MOTU character, not a new character? Probably a good guy? I think they deconfirmed Zodac? Probably not Gwildor? I think they said Mekaneck isn’t appearing? Who could it be???? Shatner’s voice only fits with so many characters… maybe Stratos? Miro? Horde Prime? (Isn’t the Prime Directive a Star Trek thing?) Man-E-Faces? (with Man-E’s actor pastime). Thoughts??

That if there fans at all. Instead just being outraged bot being directed by how the many YouTube Outrage channels. Seriously anyone who think there going do the exact same thing they did last time. Is dumb as a rock. I find it interesting that so many "fans" didn't know that Teela was the Sorceress daughter.
true, the official trailer hasn't even been released yet and the usual YouTube channels are already going against it

Very predictable, a concerted effort to bring this show down. Half of the comments come from fans who have a rose tinted view of the Filmation series who didn't get "their" version of MOTU.
If you didn't like the show after watching it, that is completely fine, but to throw so many inaccurate comments out there is just plain dumb.
The small clip, is very cool though! Top notch animation. I wonder if Mattel will release a deluxe version of Scare Glow?I'd buy it! Especially if he comes with Clamp Champ and Fisto's weapons attached to his arm.

Something about both the story pacing and the female characters I've found to be quite irritating. It's one of those things I can't quite put my finger on, I just found that lead female character in the previous series to be super annoying. And it's a vibe I'm getting from the new show as well, but now spread across several characters. It's one of things I'd probably enjoy more on mute while doing other things around the house.

That's fair.
There is a lot of lore and history to unpack within these Netflix series that just isn't going to be feasible with the time constraints / budget. So the pacing might feel a bit scattered for all but the most intimately indoctrinated fans...
I personally don't mind the female leads in these two series... I think that they make for a nice counter balance to the act-first-think-later characters on the team. (Plus, giving them a deeper history and more relatable purpose serves them well in comparison to their video game counterparts.)
I'm a big CV fan, so most of my ranting is done with rose-tinted glasses firmly on face... but I would still recommend Castlevania Nocturne to anyone who enjoys great animation, eerily beautiful settings, incredible music and really detailed character designs.

Hopefully we get more during Geeked Week '23...which is said to be "coming soon."
As if those YouTube channels have THAT much influence.
Hollywood has a habit of doubling down on what they prefer. The only way they’ll change tactics is if EVERYONE starts saying the same things. It took awhile for people to believe that the MCU’s quality had dropped. No one listened to the people who always found fault in the MCU, but they started listening when the normal media started saying the same things.
If He-Man does have more screen time, people won’t believe until they see it for themselves. The naysayers think this is going to be another bait and switch.

Although I did enjoy Revelation, the 5 episodes is a joke. Barely worth even getting excited for. I’m sure I’ll enjoy it but, I can’t get my hopes up for something that’ll be over in the blink of an eye and barely give me anything of substance. Meh.

Quality over quantity, in theory at least.
People really give youtubers way too much credit, Voltron Legendary Defenders had it way harder when it came to the youtubers yet people are able to accept the fact that the writing just wasn't that good and they fumbled the advertisement on somethings such as Shiro's boyfriend. People are still making videos about how klance was originally planned but changed at the last minute despite the showrunners saying inorder to make klance canon they would have to rewrite the entire story back before season 3 even aired
Maybe just maybe the reason that people are so skeptical has something to do with the fact that this is similar to how it happened with Revelation. When it was first announced before the synopsis was revealed at power con it was described as the final battle between He-Man and Skeletor and the announcement video was of He-man kicking butt to the song I Need a Hero. Than came along the offical trailer which focused on Teela. It certainly didn't help that kevin smith was arguing with people saying no it isn't a Teela story an no He-Man isn't sidelined. While i agree he should be able to callout false rumors, after part one came out he thanked IGN for their review that had " this is basically a Teela show" in big bold letters in the middle of the article and in his interview with Geeky Jerseys he says that he knew from the beginning that He-Man would be sidelined.
So while youtubers may play a part in people being skeptical about He-man's role in Revolution, so does the showrunner who argued with the dumb youtubers on twitter about it while either ignoring or thanking places like IGN, CBR, and Polygon who said similar things as the youtubers, and so does the media who either said that it was ok that they lied about He-Man to suprise people or they acknowledged that people do have a reason to feel lied too but they are still sexist for being mad that Teela is the star instead of He-man
IMO, the biggest perception issue with Revelation is that is was broken into two parts. I firmly believe if all episodes dropped at once, it would not be as divisive. IMO, the series identified the problem with secrets and how it important it was that Adam was given the power. The DC Comics Eternity War played around with this concept too in its own way. Revelation pushed the He-Man story forward with secrets finally revealed, Teela finally learning the truth of her parentage and embracing her destiny, and the Horde looming as a huge threat to Eternia (we only got a tease of that in 2000x and in Filmation they were mainly on Etheria). Looking forward to seeing if the Horde is truly unleashed in this series. 5 episodes is not a lot, but Castlevania season 1 was only 4 episodes and they crammed quite a bit in there, so I am hopeful.
Ugh... I really wish that people would drop the whole "bait 'n switch" complaint about Revelation....

Just a small correction on timeline.
When the new cartoon was announced at Power-Con 2019, the official synopsis was presented there on the same big screen. Fans took photos of it as well.
It was not hidden or a secret kept away only for "later to be leaked" as I saw couple fans state in one FB group.
There was only one Grayskull poster image given with the official synopsis at Power-Con.
No model images of characters.
Not a single second of animation shown.
Fans had to wait for two years... The first teaser video with "Holding Out For A Hero" came in June 2021.
