Mattel Creations is where non-vintage odd balls belong, like He-Skeletor, NA He-Slave and Frog Monger. Keep the vintage figures in the retile line. Origins is not dead, not yet so there's no reason to want MC to pick up the slack. The first half of 2024 is just a break, and a chance for new comers to get the "core characters" that they may have missed.

Don't give them ideas with He-Slave...I really dont need Faker of a Faker. There has to a middle ground between selling vintage toys and nothing but He-Man redecos.

Seriously. Everyone was up in arms over Grizzlor. Finishing vintage on MC is literally a worse idea than just outright canceling the line. At least then you know you're done, and not stuck in a ******** situation of fighting for purchases, missing order windows or having to subscribe for garbage you don't want to get the few that you do.

I kind of get why they put Grizzlor on MC, but I'm not sure it was the best way to get him out there. He could have been a deluxe along side an easy repaint like Battle Armor Faker or mini comic Ram Man, or he could have been packed in with a vehicle. But we did get him three times and the last shot was an open window for two and a half days and they took how ever many orders they got. Collectively we could have ordered 90,000,000,000 Grizzlors and Mattel would have made them.

I've been wondering about this since some of the promo shots have holes on both sides of SM. What I'd really love though is the playmat...

I really hope the Snakemen mentioned can be put into waves for the most part or at least a boxset on Creations - as it is each Creations release costs me an extra £9 in shipping. So there's £27 on shipping alone just up to September. Plus with Vykron I'm liable to want 3 of him!

Yes! I think there is a good chance that Lady Slither's Snake Lair might happen. This interchangeability would make me feel 'all in' with Snake Mountain where I've been kinda on the fence about it.

A playmat is kinda cool and would add to the retro/vintage vibe of Origins.

Toss in an actual vintage accurate snake I can replace the filmation one with and you'll sell me on it.

This is a re-post from Origins news because I'm in the mood to speculate what figures we'll get in 2024-2025:

Now that Rise of the Snake Men is almost over, I hope Lord Grassp is offered via Mattel Creations as the last of the Snake Men for at least 6-12 months. They've had a good run.

I'm sure Lady Slithers Snake Lair will be produced in 2025. Getting more Snake Men timed for that future release would be awesome!

Time now for Princess of Power, and The Horde again to appear from Wave 2 and onwards of the Cartoon collection. It'd be also fun to see Powers of Grayskull revived in time for the Eternia play set. Mattel Creations will hopefully release Sharella, He-Ro and Eldor as exclusives.
