Hurricane Hordak, Dragstor, Modulok, Multi-Bot.
Not that plenty.
I hate to say it but we were never promised well actually get Dylamug or Wrap Trap and Catra or Scorpia won't probably show up until we dive deeper into Pop, something that Origins shows no signs of doing so far.
Vultak, Octavia, Admiral Scurvy and Colonel Blast are a few more off the top of my head. There will be loads more if I start digging a bit. And technically we weren't promised anything at all at any point. 2 years into the line now, Origins is clearly following the Classics model of pulling from all eras of MOTU with action figure representation. Aside from vintage, we've gotten or seen reveals of figures from vintage mini comics, concept designs, POP, NA, 200X, bootleg knockoffs, international variants, Filmation, Netflix Revelation, Netflix CGI, and vintage German audiobooks. On top of all that they added the Rulers of the Sun line to MOTU and they also have a bunch of new characters created for Origins box art that they can make. Oh and they just revealed the first 1987 movie figures (yes, for Masterverse, but that means they could just as likely show up in Origins as well, which I hope they will). Did I miss anything??
The point is that the Origins palette is very broad and will continue to expand. Nothing is off the table. That's what makes it exciting! We really need to think and embrace well beyond just vintage. MOTU should not be beholden to a 1980's ball and chain.
1) Ok, in that case: Mainstream Horde is basically finished. Now is the time of Snake Men but that doesn't mean we necessarily get Lady Slither, Vypor, Strettch Nek, Quck Flick, Reptilax or Fang-Or or Golden Rod.
If we were getting General Sunder, Captain Scurvy, Vultak, Colonel Blast, Callix and False Face instead of Rattlor, King Hiss and Kobra Khan, it would be probably thin year for more people than what we're getting now.
2) Most of things we were getting were repaints and variants of popular characters. Our minicomics representation is yellow-green Trap Jaw not Lodar. Our concept design is prototype Mer-Man not Wrap Trap. Our 200X toys are 2 more Skeletors and 3 more He-Men not Evilseed or Lord Dactys.
We're not into Classics yet. Getting Anti-Eternia He-Man or CGI He-Man is hardly the same as getting Octavia Or Scurvy. Kol-Darr was Origins dipping its toes, now we'll see if it takes the plunge.
BTW, why the upcoming Mekaneck/Road-Ripper pack set and the Eternia playset aren't mentioned on that Origins List?
Creativity is addictive.
Yes. I'm an opener so I always get Origins from the first place I find them at retail price.
It's not currently available for sale, but here's the Amazon UK listing: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0B5HSRDQD
Not sure if there has been any more info on these leaks, but I seem to remember seeing somewhere that some of the leaks around Snake Teela and Snake troopers etc might be Amazon exclusives or something? So not all part of a proper wave?
It’s just so specific and variant heavy… Doesn’t quite feel right for a wave.
I am curious about a snake variant MAA, what kind of accessories etc he would come with.
Or if a Palace Guard infiltrator might have some other weapon than always the same spear…
If each wave has 1-2 snakes, an evil or heroic warrior, and a Sun-Man, and maybe a 200X-inspired snake warrior (incl MAA), that sounds kinda right.
Yeah I have the Mek set ordered from Amazon as well and it's scheduled to arrive Oct. 5, but I have a huge feeling that is not going to happen. Same thing happened with Masterverse Catra, she was scheduled to "arrive" and Amazon kept delaying her to the point where I just cancelled her. Especially since there have been no leaked photos or anything of this set yet, I just don't see it happening next week. Maybe closer to the end of the year.
I think everyone assumed that Snake Armor Skeletor will be Wave 12 but preview pictures of him make it even more likely.
I'm really hoping that Spikor will be there as well. They could have him be the creator of Snake Armor in minicomic like they did back in the day with Terror Claws.
That Mekaneck neck extension looks absolutely abysmal. The Construx version looks better. And why would anyone want a road ripper that doesn't propel itself in some way? Strange set.

Hmmm, not a fan of the neck piece, especially the grey base, at least paint it blueMOTU Origins is a great line, but sometimes there are some weird decisions being made on the figures, the latest being this neck piece and the new Teela's bright yellow "fake gold" armor.
MOTU Origins Wishlist: Oo-Larr, Karg, Lady Slither, Fang-Or, Goat-Man, Movie He-Man & Skeletor, Hawke, Slamurai, Shadow Weaver, Lodar, Snake Face, Geldor, Lord Gr'Asp, Strobo
Added Snake Armour Skeletor but have it listed, together with Thunder Punch He-Man and King Hiss as an undisclosed wave.
I'm guessing that Snake Armour Skeletor will be the deluxe release due to its elaborate armour and weaponry and that Thunder Punch He-Man will be for a later Wave.
If any of you can post any official or very likely release info (from retailers etc) then I will update it to the list above (first post).
Deluxe? It's just new armor, head, and 2 weapons. Surely they can fit that shield on regular card, there is no gimmick and the picture doesn't show extra accessories like a second head. The only reason to think that is that it would explain how TP He-Man keeps his gimmick (he doesn't) but then again if Snake Armor is good enough for Deluxe, Thunder Punch with extras might too.
Since Snake Armor He-Man isn’t deluxe, i feel this Skeletor will also be basic wave.
It would make a good follow up to the first Snake Wave.
I guess instinct tells us that He-Man / Skeletor are mostly deluxe, but yeah, this one might not, just like the 200X versions weren’t.
I think the neck extension looks a bit too fat and its base is ugly (maybe for stability), but probably we'll be able live with it! As for the RR vehicle, I think most us won't care for the propelling action feature, as long it rolls like any other toy with wheels.
I hope it has some mechanism, but it's not really necessary IMHO.

Updated Wave 11 with the confirmation of the deluxe figures (Thunder Punch He-Man and King Hiss).
