Rank your Top 5 MOTU Origins Waves and your Least Favourite

So now that we're a mind-blowing 12 waves into MOTU Origins, I was curious to know everyone's top 5 waves and the wave that you think sucks the most? (I haven't included Deluxe, exclusives, playsets and vehicles.) As a reminder, I've quickly listed the figures per wave.

WAVE 1 (2020): He-Man, Skeletor, Teela, Evil-Lyn, Man-At-Arms, Beastman

WAVE 2 (2020): Scareglow, Trapjaw, Orko, Man-E-Faces

WAVE 3 (2020): She-Ra, Merman, Roboto, Zodac

WAVE 4 (2020): Stratos, Hordak, Triklops, Ninjor

WAVE 5 (2021): Faker, Evil-Lyn (200X Recolor), Merman (Lords of Power single carded), Fisto, He-Man (Re-issue with vintage head), Skeletor (Re-issue with vintage head)

WAVE 6 (2021): Stinkor, Beastman (Lords of Power single carded), Webstor, Eternian Goddess

WAVE 7 (2022): Sorceress, Jitsu, Buzz-Off, Stratos (Mini Comic)

WAVE 8 (2022): Sun-Man (RoS), Anti-Eternia He-Man, Clawful, Horde Trooper

Favorite - My #1 would have to be Wave 5 due to Faker, LOP Mer-Man, and most of all the vintage heads.
#2 - Wave 1
#3 - Wave 2
#4 - Wave 6
#5 - Wave 12

Least Favorite - This one is harder for me because there is something that I really like about each wave. But if I had to choose it would be Wave 7 because of how they royally screwed up the mini-comic version of Stratos and how it's literally the only wave that I see everywhere and am actually tired of seeing lol.

Worse wave - Wave 1 mainly due to the very disappointing head sculpts.

Yeah, I certainly am not crazy about He-Man and Skeletor's heads, but the cast of characters in Wave 1 is why I put it as my #2.

I was so excited when the line started that Wave 1 cant be beat. But Wave 2 also is an awesome wave. I love every wave, Im easily pleased

IMHO, every wave had about two strong/good figures and two average to meh figures.

Of course if the deluxe, exclusives, beasts and vehicles were part of this rating list, mine here would be different.

(Loved every figure in this wave, plus I like purple and bright colours)

2.) Wave 9

• 200X He-Man
• 200X Skeletor
• Mantenna
• Pig-head

(Same reason)

3.) Wave 1

• Concept He-Man
• Cackling Skeletor

(I prefer these faces)

• Teela
• Evil-Lyn

(not crazy about this version; reminds me of when I had liver issues! )

• Beastman
• Man-at-Arms

4.) Wave 3

• She-Ra
• Roboto
• Zodac
• Mer-Man

(Admittedly I was only excited for the first two in this wave)

5. Wave 7
Now hear me out.

• Sorceress is snazz
• Buzz-Off is very snazz
• Of course I'll like jitsu as I like giant prosthetics
• I prefer fleshy Stratos due to the creepy factor of his skin colored hide.

Honourable mention: wave 4 was very close for fifth place, but... Jitsu and Buzz-Off are somewot more interesting to me than Tri-klops and Ninjor (though both have provided great customizing opportunities)

Least favourite wave:

Wave 6 was a dud for me as the only figure I really liked was Webstor.

Stinkor looks weird.
Goddess is okay, but her tinsel boot trim bothers me (same reason I don't like mechaneck)
Red Beast looks awful, boring even next to creepy flesh Stratos

With the exception of Pig-head, I find the sun people mar the other waves as they just don't look as interesting to me.
I just find them dull.

Sun Man was a great source of parts tho.

Least Favorite:
Wave 5 - I thought a long time about this. I love the Mer-Man. I like the 200X color scheme on Evil Lyn (although I would've preferred something more accurate to the 200X figure). Faker is great, although I do wish he came with the original Origins He-Man head. What really ruins this wave for me is Fisto. Specifically, the missing sideburn. He's asymmetrical. Wouldn't bother me if it was part of a look, but it's not. When we get Blade, I'll explain it away by saying that they got into a fight and the one sideburn didn't survive. Until then, it's the figure I like least in Origins.

Just gone over the quick reviews I've written of each figure (not including the replacement heads) and found the average scores out of ten work out as follows:

1. 2 & 8 (tie) 6.25
3. 1, 3 & 6 (tie) 5.5
6. 4 & 7 (tie) 5.0
8. 5 4.5

So far I've only got half of waves 9 & 10 (so haven't yet included them in this) and none of 11 or 12. Given the distribution problems here I guess they currently suck the most.

It surprised me how close they all bunch together but there are a lot of waves that contain one figure that's a strong favourite and another that's relatively weak - e.g. wave 2 has Scare-Glow but also Man-E-Faces. Wave 6 is probably the most solid with three figures scoring 7 but Lords of Power Beast-Man is my least favourite figure of all and lets the side down.

I tried to do my top 5, but it was too hard. I love all the waves! But to me, the worst wave was Wave 11. I think Rattlor is the worst figure they've made. His tail looks cheap and gets in the way and his body is big, shiny, and ugly for no reason, since he lost his action feature (which could and should have been incorporated). Kobra Kahn is the second worst figure for the same reasons.
