    Origins 200X Skeletor...

So I opened my 200X Skeletor last night, wasn't really sure if I was going to buy this figure, i've skipped 200X He-Man for now.

Anyway, I'm really impressed with him, I love the powder blue skin tone and contrasting dark purple armor.

This figure is what the 200X figure should have been back in 2001. I think the vintage proportions work really well with the design, also the face sculpt leans more on the MYP style with the fangs, it's done very well.

I also think Mattel got the accessories right, the vintage havoc staff works well and I'm glad its one solid purple like the sword, anything more would have overcooked the overall look of the figure.

Its the perfect blend of vintage understated design and 200x embellishments.

This figure might be my favourite Origins Skeletor so far!

I'm looking forward to the rumoured Captain/King Randor in 200x style.

Anyone else pleasantly surprised by this figure?

Yeah, I wasn't expecting much from the 200X transition to Origins, but I was sooo impressed when I got both figures. Even the Snake Armor He-Man looked dope! I think you won't regret getting the 200X He-Man and his variant.

I truly wish for more 200X character variations make it into Origins to be honest. Some of those redesigns were superior to the vintage like Trap Jaw, Webstor, Buzz Off, Clawful, Evil Seed, Count Marzo etc.
    Creativity is addictive.

I stated when I received mine that 200x Origins Skeletor destroys the other Skeletors in the line. He's actually better than the Masterverse Skeketors too, in my opinion.

200x Skeletor along along with Filmation are the definitive designs for me and Origins 200X Skeletor is the 200x Skeletor accurately translated to the Origins buck.

He actually has the belt, loin cloth, shin guards, and head.

I said before - without exaggeration - I think he's one of the best Skeletor figures ever made.

My favorites are the Club Grayskull/Filmation and first release MOTUC version, but this guy might be third or fourth.
