That's a good point to mention.
If you think about it; Origins aside from being a nostalgic collector line, it is more suited for the "play value" market, that's why world building with vehicles, beasts, playsets and comics/card art is part of its charm and appeal, where the Masterverse is more of a display savvy line.

Probably Mattel still thinks POP (which was a girls focused toy line) is more inline with the MV collector market these days?
    Creativity is addictive.

I had her on the list but that made 11 and personally would like to see Light Hope done for Origins. I guess we could leave Entrapta and make Light Hope a Mattel Creations Not-So-Exclusive.

I think that would work. The vintage PoP line only had Catra and Entrapta on the Horde's side it would be a shame not to include both of them.

Accessory packs! I want more weapon and armor options for customizing!

    Vote with your wallet.

Companies will stop predatory business practices when we stop rewarding it and scrabbling for the newest shiny like brain-damaged junkies.

THIS! I often forget about wanting this... the interchangeable nature of Origins has been crying out for extra boots, arms, hands, power blasts, heads, armor, you name it, since it first hit retail shelves 3 years ago. This should be a Mattel Creations option one day soon. It's just a no brainer.

If it's to be a mini subline within the Origins/Masterverse toylines

then how about the Argentinian Fuerza T characters?

Easy slapdash repaints that could get a half decent backstory.

Fuerza-T: Platino, Shidoshi, Titano, Tekno, Prince Goldar/Goldran, Silvar

    Arcanos: Carnivor, Felinor & Infector

    Escorpius: Destructor, Pantano & Spector

POP is an interesting case. If they decide to go crazy and put a heavy emphasis on it next year to mark the anniversary, would you guys like that? Wave after wave of very colourful, flamboyant female characters? I'm unsure. I appreciate variety in terms of character and faction selection for figure releases. I'm not a big fan of how they're going all-in on the Snake Men this year and practically drowning us with them at the expense of other factions, and I'd likely feel the same if they took a similar approach with POP. Just mix it up randomly. It's not rocket science.

And then there's the usual complicated question - which style of POP should be done? Personally, I much prefer the style-guide/Filmation designs, since they "pop" much more - the vintage toy designs are far more bland, but obviously, there are fans of that look too, and I doubt that there's enough room in Origins to get to both looks for all those characters. Even the mighty Classics line wasn't able to pull that off.

If I were running the line, I'd probably put 300 MOTU character names in a raffle drum and release them that way - it would make everyone happy!

I'm liking some of the suggestions here for mini sub-lines and multi-packs being offered through Mattel Creations to get to more obscure characters more quickly. That would be awesome. I wonder if it's something they've given thought to.

I think the way to go is just drop one female in per wave. Which isn't too far off from how they've been handling things so far, it's just we'll see less Teelas, Evil-Lyns and Sorceresses and more individual characters. Sprinkle in multi-pack retailer exclusives and some Mattel Creations releases. I don't think I'd expect to see ALL of PoP reproduced in Origins, but they can get a lot out in the space of 12 months (seeing what they're accomplishing with Snakemen and what they already did for RotS).

If we can get 6 characters (like Snake Men) I vote: Bow, Glimmer, Frosta, Catra, Entrapta, Mermista.

If we can get 10 (like ROTS) I'd add Angela, Castaspella, Peakablue, Netossa.

I kinda want to squeeze Kowl and Loo-Kee but...I'm sorry, you guys just aren't Orko, it's hard to prioritize you over human characters. Maybe you can be put in Deluxe packs.

I could see Kowl and Loo-Kee being tossed in with other figures as Mattel Creations offerings, or if we're really getting crazy... SDCC 3-Pack featuring Madame Razz (w/Broom), Loo-Kee and Kowl in a Whispering Woods kind of diorama-like packaging (similar to that Power-Con Horde 4 pack!).

Im totally intrigued in knowing which subline will add Mattel next year.
I guess they will complete the Lost Line characters (Only Strobo and Plasmar left, I guess Terroar and GrAsp will be released on 2023) but both Powers of Grayskull and New Adventures have been hinted in Camo Khan and Frog Monger comics, and PoG are only 3 main regular characters (with a few potential additions).
It's very interrsting the fact that PoP 40th A. is on 2024.
In Frog Monger comic appears a pegasus that I hope is Swif Wind and it is there as a hint that PoP is also coming.
RoS are 10 figures + one variant anf they have all been released in one year or so. PoP main figures are more or less 15 (If you exclude variants, Kowl, Madame Razz, Peekaboo, Star Sisters and Sea Hawk). I think it would be reasonable to release the figures in approximately a year and a half.
If it isn't possible IMV Catra, Entrapta, Frosta and Bow should be made, along Swift Wind and maybe a new "menacing" Clawdeen.

I think your mind combined Peekablue and Loo-Kee and convinced you that Loo-Kee's name is Peekaboo.
