Netflix Masters Of The Universe [1] Revelation...[2] Revolution...[3] New Eternia...?

Could this possibly be an ultimate 3-part plan for this Netflix series?!

I mean, just looking at the New Eternia logo on the Masterverse packaging, I cannot help but think of how much it looks just like Revelation's episode titles....

Has anyone else noticed and thought about this possible connection?

Its just the same vintage font from MOTU toypackaging.

”New Eternia” is an off-shoot story, existing side by side with Revelation, CGI series. As we have seen in Masterverse packages. And the Masterverse comics also depict that ”Revelation Universe” is not set in the same as ”New Eternia Universe”

Whatever story they have in mind after ”Revolution”… it will be continuing the story laid out in Revelation+Revolution.

Who knows! Kevin Smith did say fans would probably be able to figure out the title of a potential third entry. Maybe you cracked it and there will be a big time bending, multiversal, reset!

Tim Seeley did confirm that in the Masterverse comics, the Sorceress Zodac framing story is indeed in Revelation continuity, and New Eternia universes can be seen in that continuity through the Nexus Of All Realities alternate universe doorways. So they could create a great merging if they wanted to. But would they is the question. I'm guessing not, but who knows!

This seems as good a place as any to ask, and apologies if it derails the thread slightly, but what is New Eternia? I've seen a load of the new Mastersverse figures are labelled New Eternia, but I can't figure out what it is or what its premise is. Many thanks!

I'm reading the comics and based on the art I just assumed this was being used as a bridge between Revelation and Revolution. The character designs in the "main" eternia look exactly like the Revelation artwork. This leads me to also assume that whatever happens in this comic series might impact what we see in Revolution.

Whatever happens I'm just happy to have new shows and comics. I haven't been this excited about MotU in a long time.

I would guess something like "Rebirth", "Revival", or something else that starts with "Re" if the show continues.

Well, sure maybe. However, here is a side by side comparison, and also take note of the copy that I crudely circled. : )

Not exactly the same, but very quite similar if you ask me!

My guess is that was a reference to the comics that we're getting now. But I would love them to do a New Eternia cartoon.

Yes. The comic is the reference. (We saw a hint of the horror comic story on Facebook before the artist pulled it down)

Hmmm…okay. Well I haven’t seen nor read the comics yet, but I still would love new animation based on New Eternia!

The New Eternia figures are based on original concept art for the characters. That's why New Eternia "Viking" He-Man and "Barbarian" Skeletor have a bit of Vikor and Demo Man in them. New Eternia Beast Man has elements of his early Red Beast drawings. If you notice, the NE figures come with a bunch of new gear / weapons that gives them a different look, but then they can be stripped down to be displayed in their vintage look.

Thanks for the explanation - sounds cool!

Yep! They look the same because Eddie Nunez did character concept art for Revelation (and Revolution) and he also did the art for the Zodac and Sorceress comic framework story in that Revelation continuity. (I think it's brilliant that they did that!)

Will the events in these comics impact Revolution from the show's perspective? I would guess minimally at most. The producers probably wouldn't want to rely on viewers reading the comics first, but it might fill in the blanks like the other prequel comic series did (like how we learned the Orlax was responsible for Skeletor figuring out about the orb... and Castle Grayskull being a disguise for the Hall of Wisdom, etc.) Perhaps Zodac will appear in Revolution and this will provide some context!

Right? If that Motu movie and She-Ra live action seried finally goes into production, the 2020's might rival the 1980's!
