Snake Men are supercool but IMV Hordak's faction has been always the main threat to Eternia, so dangerous that he is feared for both Heroic and Evil Warriors.

I think Origins should focus in the Horde on 2024 as they have focused on the Snakes on 2023.

I propose some characters that should be make to make the Evil Horde a powerful faction capable of matching the now very numerous Snake Men:

Technically, the Snake Troopers are part of an alliance between the Horde and the Snake Men based on the MOTU Classics bio...

When a team of rank-and-file Snake Men soldiers accompanied the cunning Lord Gr’Asp to Horde World for negotiations with Horde Prime, little did they know that they’d become the very embodiment of a villainous alliance. As a mark of their treaty, Horde Prime insisted that Gr’Asp’s soldiers be augmented by Horde World’s science. Without their acquiescence, the soldiers were surgically enhanced with bionics and transformed into self-repairing cyborgs. Further, the hapless Snake Men were lobotomized and connected to the central computer brain of the Horde Troopers. Well:

Horde Trooper is one army builder.

Snake Trooper is a different army builder.
Smake Grunts are another army buider (And they are a unique figure, despite being made by existing parts)
Slithor is officially a unique character (Despite being made using parts of already existing Snake Men).
Palace Guard Infiltrator can be another army builder, or being a single ccharacter, up to you.

You literally didn't counted repaints of old characters but swap Khan and Rattlor's heads around and that's 2 more characters, I guess. Would you accept new Hordesman that is Grizzlor with Hordak's head? We can't exactly help that all these Snake Men are so much cheaper than all those unique Horde characters. I too would have preferred He-Ro, Lord Dactys, Fearless Photog or Scorpia over Minicomic Roboto or 200X Evil-Lyn but here we are.

Personally I don’t associate Hunga or Mortella with the Horde just like I don’t associate Shokoti or Kothos etc as Evil Warriors.

Yes and they're cheap to make. Basically are members of Horde are almost completely unique tooling. It's their strength and weakness.

Snake Men have about 6 members. Take Terroar and others and you have 9. That's about equal to all toy Hordesmen. And let's not pretend that we aren't getting Dragstor, Multi-Bot and Modulok sooner or later.

So once we remove 9 main members Snake Men have Camo Khan, Snake Teela, Infiltrator, Slithor and Grunts.

Now Horde is likely to get 2 Hordak variants, and a few playsets and vehicles. Now tackle on top of that Catra, Scorpia, Dylamug, Callix...Would you really say that would put 2 factions on equal ground?

I think it wouldn't be equivalency but rather putting things in favor of Horde. Infiltrator is such a lame toy that Slime Pit Buz-Off would be more exciting. Meanwhile Snake fans wouldn't get Fangor, Reptilax, Lady Slither...

I could live with them renaming her "Queen Hiss", not very original perhaps. It would be cool if they are a waring royal snake couple with their own followers and armies, who occasionally come together to fight against He-Man or Skeletor etc.

Well, maybe we should think if the Horde should be powerful and numerous than the Snake Men or both should be more or less equal.

Regardeless of the name Lady Slither/Queen Hiss is veru popular and I think she would be a great figure. And the Snake Men needs at least a woman on their ranks.

Cy-Chop is so vintage! He along with Draego-Man were my absolute favourites of the new characters. I think Cy-Chop suits the Evil Warriors more than Horde tbh

I think his Classics version is hindered by the articulation at the time.

I can see an Origins version being much more posable (plus all the potential parts-swapping) and therefore much for fun to own and mess around with than his Classics counterpart.

I think he would have been better with smaller scissors, maybe the size of Clawful's big claw. The huge scissors were just too ungainly.

Also it was useless that they gave him that Trap-Jaw inspired belt, but nothing that could attach to it. Like they went through the effort of making a whole new belt with the Horde insignia, but left the loops there that served zero purpose. I'd love to see him have smaller attachments that hook on his belt if he made his way into Origins (hello Deluxe Cy-Chop!).

This is why I picked Masterverse, for Origins collector especially if you start now will have a bad time getting most of these.

I also hope for the reboot versions in any form! If they make reboot She-ra and Catra in Origins I may consider starting collecting origins to. (rip wallet)
