See you folks again in the other side.

We’re about as late March as late March can get, and although the post from Val said the outage may start in April, just wanted to take the opportunity to wish everyone a happy downtime while there’s still a chance.

Good journey everyone! Til we meet again! (Whenever it happens.)

Let's just hope the forum and site overall finally get fixed after...how many years?

Well let's give props to Val and his volunteers. I'm sure the site is expensive to maintain and he has done an amazing job for decades.

I still say we should run a campaign where we each kick in $5.00 to help. It's a freaking cup of coffee and I know it would make a huge difference. I can't imagine how much out-of-pocket in dollars and time Val has laid out over the years.

I'd be in for that. I imagine a lot of us would.

They used to do that a long time ago. I'd be up for another round.

Great idea. I will gladly give more than $5.

Bravo, Brasco! I didn't want to bring it up, but I certainly will, too. But anything anyone gives will surely be appreciated, put to good use and represents a long overdue testament to all that we owe to Val and his team and, of course, it's to our benefit to keep the board in great shape. Man, I was in withdrawal when it was down for so long the last time...

They didn't publicize it very well, (in fact I had to be told when I suggested they do a Patreon), but there was a way to do a monthly $5 donation. I did it for quite a while (enough to become a Silver Warrior it seems!); it was canceled during the downtime. Gave me a fright when that happened.

Okay, so we're all agreed. Can we please have someone who's tech savvy step up to facilitate this?
