Mattel Announces Masterverse Vykron, Origins Fang-Or, and Origins Lady Slither!

Lady Slither in Masterverse would be a step in the right direction for me.

I'd be super excited if Mattel used Masterverse to fill-in some Classics-sized gaps!

Same. I need more Masterverse. Characters that we didn't get in Classics would be great! Lady Slither, Vypor , 200X Miro, Great Black Wizard, Tuvar, Baddrah. Man, I even want the ABC Giants.

This is great news. Im really pleased they are doing Fangor and Slither. Lady Slithers packaging sounds very interesting, sounds like it could be a box like Moss-Man with a snake/bronze slip over over it. Sounds like they are doing something pretty special.
For Fangor it sounds like the Deluxe Mattel Creations (Camo Khan, Sun-Man).
Great news for carded collectors, cant wait to see these.

Interesting way for Mattel to get the info out too. I think its a great thing and I wish they would do this more often. Muddled news through retailers lists is not a great way to communicate.

Interesting news on the new figures announcements.
Surprised to see them revisiting Vykron. I didn't think he sold that well in Classics. Or maybe they just massively over produced him.
Great to finally get a Lady Slither figure!
Glad that leaked photo of Fangor has a head with the shorter fangs as I always thought the really long fangs just made him look like a walrus.
Interesting that they name the characters on the cardback art.
If they do Stretch Neck I hope he has a new neck and doesn't just use the Rattlor neck.
Personally I've never been too keen on Pythonus, he just looks too much like Nepthu.
Strange Toxoid isn't mentioned as he'd be a straight repaint and he also on the Kol Darr's card back they mention.

Agreed about Vykron, I kinda like him but the Classics one didn't turn out great. I hope the Masterverse NE version has had a redo, with new added details and backstory, rather than just mimicking the old prototyes.

Cannot wait to see Lady Slither, Fang-Or and I agree about Stretch Neck - too similar to Rattlor so he must have his own selling point/new sculpt, not just another redo.

With Streach Nek (now Anancondus), the selling point would be to use the Squeeze arm as the neck, the bendy neck is used to strangle its victims, thats the play on this character.

OMG- I love how they took the space version and made him more resemble Zodac, and how the tank version has more Eternian elements including a nod to Man-At-Arms! Such an improvement over the Classics version! Sign me up for three.

I really don't like what they did to the tank head but the rest looks great.
