    NJ Toy Sighting Thread?

    Hello fellow Jersey .orgers,

Since it looks like we won't be able to report MotU sightings anytime soon , would you like to turn this thread into a general toy sighting thread? Anything you collect, like Marvel Legends, GI Joe, Transformers, Star Wars, McFarlane, Batman, Muppets, etc.. I think it would be nice to have a Jersey sightings thread so we can help each other out.

I actually have a MotU sighting to report: Suncoast has put the wave 1 mini-busts on sale for $6 and change. Not bad if you still haven't picked these up.

On the Marvel Legends front, I found some wave 7 pegwarmers (Weapon X Wolvie and Iron Man) at KB today! I still haven't found any of the wave 6 short packs, though. Only seen Wolvie, Punisher, and some Cables from that wave. I'm holding out in hopes of Wal-Mart getting a huge load of these for Christmas, cause the ones by me still have a bunch of wave 5 warming the pegs.

And if anyone has been looking for Family Guy figures, they've hit Suncoast.

    I think it already is.

We also do post sightings from other lines here too, but I guess your suggestion just made it more official though.

Yeah, I know. I guess I just wanted to see if this thread could explode and become a great tool for collectors in NJ.

If you're looking for Family Guy, I've also seen them at Hot Topic. They are $13 at HT, $12 at Suncoast. I was hoping to see them for cheaper at Suncoast, but that price point looks like where this market is going.

I'll consider the MOTU microbusts for $6. I wasn't too impressed.

I'll probably pass on the family guy figs ($$$), though I'll have to check them out. What I saw of them in print didn't impress me a whole lot. But maybe they look dif't in person. My wife and I are Family Guy hardcores - we sent emails, signed petitions, the whole deal, to get 'em back on the air. We even got the entire set on vcd a couple years ago, before the dvd was out. For those of you that don't know, the show is coming back in Jan. You all probably already knew that, though, didn't you?!?!?

Yup, I knew it DV! I can't wait! I think this is the first show to come back to life after strong DVD sales.

I think you'll like some of these, especially Peter and Stewie. There are 6 eye variations for each Peter and Stewie figure (there are 2 Stewies in wave 1), so you can pick out the specific ones you like. I picked up Peter with shifty, squinting eyes looking to the left -- it captures his facial expression from the show perfectly!

TF Alternators fans: I found the new Meister and Tracks at WM today. It looks like there are 2 Tracks and 1 Meister in the new assortment, along with 1 Dead End.

I'm not necessarily sold on Tracks' color and lack of wings, but I'm going to get it. It blows the original out of the water.

which wm did you find them in?

Piscataway. As of yesterday, they had a Tracks and Dead End left, and a bunch of Silverstreaks. Maybe a Hound or two as well. This line is well distributed; the new ones become easier to find with time.

Also, this WM has TMNT for only $4.34! I picked up a couple Utroms at that price.

And did you guys see the new KB closings? Should we be surprised that the KB in the Brunswick Square Mall on Rt 18 is closing? I don't go that KB often, but it's interesting that a mall KB is not doing well. Another one bites the dust...
