Official UK sightings thread

Just got back from London and I was passing Hove Woolies which normally has absolutely jack as far as the new line goes...except they'd put out some wave two heroes figures again - and, lo-and-behold, no Ram-Man for once!!

However, I noticed the yellow action-chip sticker on the packing...and they had regular (not Euro) Orko! And three Smash Blade He-Man figures!!

I asked the member of staff there to check for Teela, but there was no sign of her...I understand she was short-packed anyway.

So what's going on? This wasn't part of the shipment in January - can it just have slipped in by mistake or has Mattel done another sort of deal we don't know about yet? It seemed very strange to see them advertising Castle Grayskull Vers. 1...

Well I saw 2 American Orko's in my local Woolworths about 2 weeks ago and they still have both! They probably got the leftovers of what was meant to be sold in America for a cheap price!

No Snakemen yet though, although like someone posted Argos have the MOTU v.s. the Snakemen titled on their website. Just a matter of waiting for the new catalogue on the 24th I guess.

I'd ask them if they have Teela if I were you, Neil - it's unlikely, but a possibility.

I think all the figures they have, are out on the shelf, but next time I go in I'll ask just incase.

Just found Teela and Zodak in Exeter Woolworths today, wasn't expecting to find this figure. The guy who worked there, seems to think these would be a one off. What a find. Apparently Snake Men are due soon.

I got a cross battle tank today from preston TK Maxx!!! I nearly died when I saw it! The figure itself is really cheaply produced next to my normal cross he-man but still. CROSS he-man!!! £8!!! I could barely contain myself. Shame the tank he comes with is so damn stupid. what a waste of plastic that thing was.

Wish this cross he-man had a classic colour scheme tho instead of just a normal one with less detail.

they still have a BA skelly in all his crappy glory but nothing else.

Just one of each and I had both.

Lucky I got them before those scalpers you hear about.

The guy in Woolworths also said that he had heard there may be a promotion coming up on He Man figures. Maybe a buy one get one free offer again.

Teela.....in the U.K.......Until I hold the plastic in my hand I will be sceptical! (no offense) but Woolworths would make sense as they were the only place where you could get an Evil-lyn!

Not strictly true Tesco were selling Evil Lyns aswell

Now you see that's what I thought! I was convinced that I saw an Evil-lyn in Tescos, but from reading this forum I was under the impression that it was only Woolworths and that I was seeing things!

John Lewis in Bristol had Castle Grayskull this afternoon for £12.95!!

I was a bit suspicious because the box was open but I bought it anyway and all seems well. The green light/alarm is the only possible fault. It keeps flashing continuously instead of the 3-minute cutoff (according to the instructions) Is this normal or should the alarm stop flashing?

Anyway, there was only one left after I bought mine, but I think JL is having a real clearout sale in all their stores, so check around.

Also bought a set of the miniatures from them for just £3.95.

I bought my Evil-Lyn in Toymaster in Chelmsford earlier in the year. They had several and some also in Woolworths.

Devon seems to be getting all the rare figures, just seen Teela in Torquay Woolworths.

Battle Sound Skeletor is in Exeter TK MAXX for £2.99. Also saw Masters of the Universe towel in Exeter Woolworths.

Sorry just been down there and it was gone. However, if Exeter and Torquay Woolworths are getting them, i'm sure other branches round the country will get them

Just picked up:

SA He-Man, Claw Stratos, Fisto, Kahn, King Hss, and the General from Gloucester TRU.

So far, this has been the best place to look for the latest He-Man figs.

No Teelas in my Woolies

Still can't find the BA figs either.

Or cheap Samurai beasts.

That was mine Kerplunk

I got it from Woolies, and returned it there to get the repaint Trapjaw. I even had to argue to get it exchanged cos the Manager said he had never had that figure

Do a lot of people need Teela?

If I know people will want her for cost or trade I'll keep an eye out next week as I'm going into Nottingham town centre.

There I'll be able to look in the following:

2 Argos stores
Woolworths
The Entertainer
Forbidden Planet
John Lewis

It's a shame that the Nottingham Toy Master closed, otherwise I might have found one in there!

I'll let you all know either way what I find!
