Hey Horde members, the shirt order has been placed!! The next time we meet please bring a little extra coin, we are going to figure out how much extra is owed (I forgot to figure in tax ) plus also for reasons I can't post (James Bond kind of stuff) for other long distance members. I paid for it all in full today, so we are looking at 10-14 days max. to have them done. So hopefully I'll have your (Margaret's) shirt before you have to leave to go back to school. finally i'm home from that dreadfully expensive state Kalifornya! (sd in arnold's accent) the food was horrible, the traffic was worst than chgo traffic, but the chics were so SWEET!!! all the places we went to were cool, but one or 2 rides would breakdown while we were in line, but other than that i got my gatefold cover comic, a sketch from matt. the other guys were gone by the time i came back from eating!

i was the lucky winner of she-ra & batman since they let you get both the exclusives @ sdcc. i happened to have the last ticket number in the spread.

i was unable to pick up any extras of anything since my pre-registration info was all screwed up, i had to pay to get in b/c they couldn't find me in the system, and i pd for my ticket via fax more than a week prior. i didn't have my digi cam w/ me so i have no pics to post or show at the next meeting. i did see all the 2-ups of the characters brad mentioned before and they looked farking awesome! i did see the ca stratos & sa he-man figs up close and i can;t wait to get my hands on those figs soon. and i talked to a few guys from afx, and they sd theye are s/b getting in cases of the repaint/new figs, and possibly getting cases of the sa he-man & ca stratos wave in too.

well gotta go eat! L8R ******es. =)

Are the new alternators out? Hound and silverstreak I think I heard were out but I'm not sure. Has anyone seen them?

Well, my first night of the re-model was a complete waste. We couldn't even do what we were supposed to, since we have to wait on building services to build our new display. So I basically was just extra help on the salesfloor tonight. But the good news is, that our toy reset is scheduled to happen this week. We have a trailer with new product sitting outside, waiting to get cleaned out. I'm going to try to get a look at the new layout to hopefully see what we'll be carrying, so with any luck, I can report back tomorrow night with some findings.

Gabe - Glad you had a good time at the Con. So how was the She-Ra/Batman situation handled? I've seen a few posts that it was a lottery again like last year, but is it still 1 exclusive or the other, or can you get tickets for both on the same day?

The new stuff shown by NECA rocks, but I'm a little sad that while they did show 2 new statues and like 7 or so new micro-busts, we only got 1 new mini-bust. I guess my wallet will be happy though...

skullface- it was still a lottery, like i sd i was the last ticket # in the spread (#197862 to be exact) and we were able to get both exclusives w/ one ticket.

if anyones sees the new star wars figs in the clamshells cases please pick me up a set. i didn't see any but the han solo @ the con and they wanted $25 for him, most other basic figs were $12+, but they did have all the figs available (most of them are repacks anyways which totally sucks! ). also looking for the luke dagobah doing the handstand if anyone see's him???

Well, we got to take down the luggage tonight, so the reset is in full swing. Toys is moving to where the luggage/pet supplies/automotive section is currently, so they'll be setting 2.5 aisles of toys tonight. What those aisles are, I wasn't able to find out. But I did see a bunch of the toy cases in the stockroom tonight! It's all piled in together, but I did manage to see 1 case of Unleashed figures & 2 cases of the Vintage OTC figures back there. I'm calling the store in the morning to find out if the action figures are part of tonight's reset.

I was also able to talk the reset manager into letting me help out the 2nd team for a few hours each night after my team gets finished. So, not only will I be able to get close to 40 hours a week with my raise, but I'll actually be able to see what is getting put out that night, instead of just taking stuff down and finding out what's been put there when I come back in the next day. The toys ARE getting done all this week, so it'll only be exciting until Thursday night. But at least I'll be able to scoop some stuff up for you guys!

Gabe - I'll try to grab you a set of the Vintage OTC figs when we put them out. I know they come 8 to a case, and we have at least 2 cases. Although I've heard the Luke is shortpacked. I'll let you know what we have. I think they're $10 each.

Craig - I got your e-mail, and I'll be on the lookout for your stuff.

Marc - I'm not sure if we're still going to carry Spidey Classics, but if we get the new wave, I'll grab a Rhino & Black Spidey for ya, if you still need them. LMK!

Jimmy - If you talk to Darrell, let me know if he still needs a Leia Unleashed for Paula, and I'll try to hook him up.

And just as another heads-up, I'm REALLY strapped for $$$ until I get paid Friday, so I'll probably end up writing a hot check, or borrowing the $$$ from Kim if need be, but I'll keep you all posted.....

Shoot, this month's meeting is this Sunday. I'm not going to be able to make it, because I'm going to Otakon in Baltimore for the weekend, and my plane doesn't get back until about 9pm on Sunday. (If anyone is looking for anything that might be found at a huge anime convention, let me know before about 8am tomorrow, when I leave.)

If you need money for the extra Horde shirts, I can stop by the store on Monday. I need to stop by sometime anyway to pick up a Wizard World ticket.
