hi guys,

hope everyone's been doing well. it's been a while since i posted, so i thought i'd drop a line. i'm sure those who gone to the sdcc had a great time even if they didn't get what they want. reading on some experiences, i'm kinda glad I didn't go myself, although it would have been super cool to see those new prototype figures! lets just hope they get produced! i'm not sure what to think about some of the new pics of repaints on the afx website, but the repaint of FA Skeli is a freaking joke if you ask me!

Anyone here interested in the repaints? That Ice Armor Skeletor and Sy-Klone look pretty sweet.

Happy Birthday Troy. As far as the repaints are concerned, I really like the Sy-Klone and MEF. The repaint of fire armor Skeletor is rather disappointing and uncreative. As a completionist, I will get them anyways. Y'all have fun at the meeting today. I wish I could go, but I am recovering from a nasty bout of food poisoning.

It's been a while but I am now returning. I would love to come to the meeting today but I will be unable to make the trip because It is just too far from where I am right now. I would like to say Happy B-day to Troy and that I will most def. be at the next meeting. I hope everybody that made the journey to San Diego got everything they wanted and had a great trip. Also I was wondering if anybody got extras of the comic con exclusives. I couldn't make the trip because a little thing I like to call summer school and would like to support my fellow MAZters before going to ebay or the boards here. Thanks and I'll be waiting for the minutes to see what happened today. Have a good one everybody.

Well, it was great to see everyone again and we had some good laughs. Rj and I loved it, especially hearing how Troy-klops gave the Bowen guys a run for their money!

And yeah what a cool suprise Dave had for us to see! Fantastic meeting!

The birthday was great. Thank you, guys. Dave, a special thanks to you for the surprise cake. I especially appreciated the huge blaze atop the cake!

For all those of you who still have the big 3-0 to look forward to, the down hill slope is certainly easier on the knees.

Dave: sorry dude, I didnt get your message 'til late yesterday. With all the crap I was doing around the house I completely forgot about the meeting Had a bunch of overdue work for the lady that needed done...its a non paying gig...

Man, it was good seeing some of you at SDCC- if it was only brief. Saturday was so freaking hectic. I swear it was alot worse than last year. Still fun though.

Oh, and on a side note- not sure if any of you seen the FRONTPAGE of last Mondays USA Today....

The secret Troy is not to celebrate the big 3-0. Celebrate the anniversary of your 29th birthday and that big 3-0 will never see the light of day. That's what I intend to do next year when it's my turn. LOL

And Happy Belated Birthday man. The nerve of my boss expecting me to work when there was a meeting...and the one time you guys finally have cake I miss out!

For me I'd try and forget how old I am. It just depresses the heck out of me and wonder where all the years gone by. Anywho, let's try and organize a carpool. It'll be Sept. 5; the day before Labor Day for the next meeting, unless the date get changed. We'll play it by ears and wait for the final confirmation on that. I could use my car for the trip this time. It's got A/C, cruise control and a power moonroof.

Hope everyone had a good time at the meeting and the con, wish i coulda made it, but next month is a definate! Well my friend in Germany came through and I was able tog et ahold of a SA He-man, Talon Attack Stratos, and German Keldor, so Im pretty happy right about now.

It's been very busy with all the ants in the Tucson area. I figured I was going to get snowballed with a lot of insect situations down here. I am loving my new used car I purchased up there in Glendale a few weeks ago. All in all, a pretty busy month for a MOTU fan.

I don't think it's a bad thing if they plan to keep the line going via internet sales and comic book shops. It will be a bad thing if they don't keep the line going cuz then they prob will just shut the site down so they don't have to hear all the crying.
