Plot Summary: Waking up to a nice morning in the woods, Adora feels uncomfortable. Almost as if she is being watched. Thinking that Adora is simply stressed over the recent missions, Glimmer and Bow decide to take her to a place of relaxation and fun, the Kingdom of Mystacor, the realm home to most of Etheria’s sorcerers. What Adora doesn’t know is that she is truly being watched as Shadow Weaver, displeased with Catra’s recent failures, has decided to pursue Adora herself through the use of her shadow spies.

Arriving at Mystacor, a glorious and majestic high above the clouds, Adora is soon introduced to Castaspella, sister of Micah, and leader of the kingdom and head sorceress. On the tour, Castaspella introduces Adora to a statue of Light Spinner, a past sorceress of immense potential said to have betrayed the kingdom in favor of dark magic as part of an old wives tale. At the end of the tour, Castaspella then informs Adora the monthly lunar eclipse ceremony, which will renew the magic of the kingdom in order to protect their sacred land.

As Glimmer and Bow try to treat their friend to a nice day at the beach, Adora finds herself unable to keep still lying down. The ominous voices and foreboding calls seem to indicate that Shadow Weaver is present in Mystacor despite nothing evil being present in the kingdom at all. In the steam grotto, Adora finds better comfort in the warm pools. Unfortunately, Shadow Weaver’s shadow spies interrupt Adora’s moment of clarity as the words of the dark sorceress and Hordak taunt her. In response, Adora transforms into She-Ra and blasts several gems, irreplaceable records of ancient Mystacor history to pieces, angering Castaspella. In response, Adora seals herself away in a guest room as the eclipse ceremony begins.

As Castaspella initiates the renewal of Mystacor’s magic, Shadow Weavers dark powers corrupt the peaceful magic of the ceremony and sends everybody in the room into a slumber. Adora then finds Glimmer and Bow chastising her for the recklessness she had display and drag her out of the kingdom. Seeing through the sudden vitriol of her friends, Adora discovers they are merely shadow spies taking on their image. Adora heads to the ceremonial chamber and confronts Shadow Weaver, who reveals she was Light Spinner and will soon conquer Mystacor for the Horde. Shadow Weaver tries to manipulate Adora into returning to the Fright Zone, but her adopted daughter uses her shield to redirect the magic of the lunar eclipse towards her, and defeats the dark sorceress. Glimmer, Bow, and Castapella reconcile with Adora, and thank her dearly for her heroism.

As Catra walks in on Shadow Weaver, now unconscious beside her magic pool, she sees an image of Bow and decides the best course of action is to “go for the heart”.
