Teela (1982)

Faction: Heroic Warriors

Teela is the heroic warrior goddess character in the Masters of the Universe line. She was released in 1982 and discontinued in 1986. The figure came with removable snake armor, a snake staff, and a shield. She had a spring-loaded power punch action feature and six points of articulation.

Early on she was considered a kind of two-in-one figure: with her snake armor on, she was the mystical Goddess (or sometimes the Sorceress), the guardian of Castle Grayskull. Without the snake armor she was Teela, a fierce warrior and daughter of Man-At-Arms.

However this idea was not consistent in the early comics and story books, and the Goddess character was eventually replaced with the Sorceress in the Filmation He-Man and the Masters of the Universe canon.
