He-Man, the most powerful man in the universe, returned in a brand new format in 1989. Featuring a shorter, slimmer build, this time the hero of Eternia had been transported far into the future to defend the planet Primus. He came with a removable helmet, removable armor, and a translucent yellow sword and shield. By twisting his waist, his arms would alternative move up and down, simulating the figure attacking with his sword and defending with his shield.

He-Man came packaged on an individual card, and in sets with one of three evil characters: Skeletor, Slushhead or Flogg. He also came packed with a story cassette.
