Castle Grayskull, the fortress of mystery and power, was the first playset in the Masters of the Universe line. It boasted quite a few play features, including a working elevator, trap door, locking jaw bridge, and spinning combat trainer. Its accessories included:
- Weapons rack with nine weapons
- Flag
- Laser cannon
- Ladder
- Combat Trainer
- Elevator
- Two removable floors
- Throne with trap door
- Assorted stickers and cardboard decorations
The jaw bridge was meant to be unlocked using the combined halves of the Power Sword that came with He-Man and Skeletor. Although it had a generally savage and barbarian feel to it, the interior was decorated with many sci-fi elements. It was introduced in 1982 and discontinued in 1986.
