Faction: Heroic Warriors
The original retail release of He-Man came with the shaggy haired “Alcala” head that was first released with the SDCC He-Man and Prince Adam two-pack. He included a half sword, axe, shield, and removable harness. Because the SDCC set was based on Mark Taylor concept designs and artwork by Alfredo Alcala, this retail version’s boots, sword, axe and shield would carry those prototype influences over. Most of the other figures in the line were based on the vintage toys rather than on vintage prototypes.
