Faction: Evil Warriors
The 200x Mer-Man figure came with a sword, staff and removable armor. A button on his back, when pressed, would cause his arm to rotate forward, allowing him to attack his enemies! The figure was inspired by the vintage Mer-Man cross sell art, although he has an updated and more aggressive look!

Prototype
Mer-Man was designed and sculpted by the Four Horsemen. You can see a picture of the prototype below, sculpted at double size. As you can see, the original intention was for Mer-Man to have yellow armor and accessories, following the various vintage looks of the figure. However Mattel opted to change the colors on the production figure.
