MOTU Origins Cartoon Collection Filmation Whiplash was based on the character as he appeared in the 1983 He-Man and the Masters of the Universe series produced by Filmation. Whiplash featured a long tail, and came with rocket launcher from the episode, “The Betrayal of Stratos.”
