Most of us are familiar with the View-Master and the reels of 3D pictures, but, perhaps, not everyone is familiar with the Talking View-Master! They were, originally, made in the early 70’s, and in 1984 came the third generation of Talking View-Masters, and a Masters of the Universe reel album was made for this version.
The reels are the same as the number one set of Masters of the Universe 3D reels, and they contain a, somewhat, simplified version of the King of Castle Grayskull minicomic! In addition to the 3D reels you will notice that each cartridge also contains a small audio record, which would start to play when the cartridge was inserted in the viewer, and the correct picture was lined up towards the lenses of the viewer!
The viewer, itself, is really a small technological marvel, but it’s also quite temperamental and it can be very tricky to coax it to actually play the audio record!
