Plot Summary: In the Fright Zone, Glimmer is being held prisoner in some sort of torture device set up by Shadow Weaver that is slowly corrupting her with dark magic. Hordak informs Shadow Weaver that he has sent his ultimatum to Queen Angella: Surrender herself to the Horde and Glimmer will be freed.
After returning to Bright Moon, Adora hears Queen Angella consider whether or not she should accept Hordak’s terms and give herself up to the Horde in exchange for Glimmer’s safety, or continue the fight for the Princess Alliance. Almost instantly, Angella announces she will accept Hordak’s terms. Later, Adora finds Perfuma, Mermista, Entrapta, and Seahawk waiting for her ready to help her get Glimmer and Bow back.
Bow, being kept in a cell away from Glimmer starts to form a surprising bond with Kyle and tries to get information out of him on Glimmer’s location.
Forming a plan together, Adora, Perfuma, Mermista, Entrapta, and Seahawk manage to infiltrate the Fright Zone, but run into some issues following through their original strategy. Entrapta is continuously distracted by the advanced technology of the Horde while Seahawk is confronted by Scorpia and is forced to impersonate an inspector in order to avoid being exposed. With Mermista going through the Horde sewer system to open the doors, Entrapta and Perfuma sneaking into a security tower, the five are eventually able to access the main tower of the Fright Zone.
Kyle returns to Bow to give him some information regarding the planned exchange the Horde is planning for Angella and Glimmer due to his kindness, just as a fight breaks out with the princesses and Horde soldiers. Bow is rescued, and Adora separates from the rest of the group and surrenders herself to get to Glimmer. Adora offers to stay if Glimmer is let go, but Shadow Weaver only announces that she will wipe Adora’s mind, and has no intention of freeing her tortured friend. Mustering all her strength, Glimmer manages to teleport her way out of the torture device and incapacitates Shadow Weaver.
The other princesses and Seahawk are on their way to find a skiff and escape, but Entrapta is supposedly killed in an attempt to rescue her new robot friend, Emily. Adora and Glimmer get close to escaping, but then Catra corners them. Shockingly, Catra instead simply gives Adora the sword and tells her to go.
As Adora and Glimmer hop aboard the skiff to escape with the others, they are informed of Entrapta’s death.
