The Turtles of Grayskull comics are scheduled to release as a trade paperback compilation November 11, 2025. It was previously reported last April that the compilation would also include the Turtles of Grayskull mini-comics that were included as a “pack-in” bonus with the Masters of the Universe x Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles action figures.
Now, according to series artist Freddie Williams II, the trade paperback will no longer include the mini-comics.
When asked for more information, Darkhorse Comics responded that the decision was likely due to Mattel.
“I can’t speak for Mattel, but I believe this was just a choice made by Mattel to keep the mini comics limited to the figure line. Dark Horse Comics normally just collect Dark Horse titles, so I wouldn’t be surprised if they just wanted to keep everything separate.”
